Okay, I have an original DS, but no charger. I was wondering if anyone would happen to have one thats willing to part with it. I will pay around $10 or so for it, and even pick it up myself.

Nope, he's upgrading to a DS Lite so he already has a DS charger from his old DS.

Why not just go to the store and buy one?

I didn't think it mattered that much where I got it seeing is how it will $10 either way. But I guess to each his own...
