I have actually had it for a long time now it is just now I felt like posting about it see if anyone plays TF2? And how bout Portal that was a good 4 or 5 hourse spent
I had a strange dream last night. Riot was in it, as well some of the other folks I hang out with in Bloomington. We were in downtown Indianapolies playing with orange and blue Frisbees. When the frisbees hit a surface, it left a portal there. So basically we were doing a freestyle exploration game seeing just how high up people could get.
Strangest part is I've never played Portal. I've seen videos on Youtube, but never played it.
I really want to get it cause the games are great, but the whole Steam thing is a huge dealbreaker to me as until recently it would act retarded when somebody tried to play one of the games without a internet connection.

I got it about a week ago and love it. Steam was a huge pain in the ass because I (still) run on a 56k connection, so it took a loooong time to download all the updates but it was worth it.
The last FPS I played was Doom 3. Before that, I believe it was Faceball 2000 on the SNES, but I'm in love with HL2 and Portal. Best 50 bucks I've spent in a long time.
On the 28th we should have broadband (unless Verizon decides to act retarded again) so I'll be all about TF2.
This may not be much to some people, but this is coming from a kid who used to tell people he hated first person shooters. I found out I could play on dial-up, so thats pretty much all I've been doing. 13 moar days of lagfest 2000.
