I danced on it for a couple of hours and ended up finishing off the night on my Ignition 3.0, finding that I really preferred the soft pad over the metal mat mostly because I've got bad ankles and feet. Pounding on the hard pad was uncomfortable for me, almost disabling after a couple hours of play. Keeping the mat would be a waste of space (and $), so I've decided to sell it to a deserving member of the Indy DDR community (hint: this could be you).
For anyone who likes dancing at the arcade and thinks the softer pads are shortchanging you on your score, the Cobalt Flux is certainly the way to go; its accuracy is unparalleled as is its durability. Again, it just isn't the right fit for me.
If you're interested, let me know, and we'll get in contact over the phone and haggle out a price. Just keep in mind that this pad is essentially brand new. I still have the box and packaging in my living room.
