The event announcement came just 3 weeks and 2 days before the event. I believe he (and many others) either already had plans or is unable to travel on such short notice due to scheduling and/or financial reasons.

Something that Jason did indicate about USPF is that the winner may not get a chance to go to WPF due to how little time there is to get the necessary passport and visa for it.

We are 38 days away from EVO. Good lord, get hype! I am so incredibly excited for this trip that I am pretty much doomed for disappointment.

I am literally going to sneak out at night and play poker at Caesar's Palace while Riot sits downstairs mucking it up with smelly people, Chad goes between hanging out with Riot and admiring the Rio's architecture, and Kevin drinks himself silly and makes loud comments at other people.

I feel like we all have different agendas for this trip. I just want to eat at a lot of buffets, play cards and not sleep.

I think I'm the only one who really just wants to be around, oh, you know, the main event. There's gotta be good matches to watch on other days than just finals. I just wanna make sure I'm around for more EVO moment #37s. Meals are fine and all but I'd rather plan around EVO not buffet schedules
