I completely forgot about the draft...again. Let's see if I actually make any trades this year. Merk, over/under?

Re: IndyDDR Fantasy Football 2: Lock out with our rocks out
Most people are stacked so I don't think any trades are going to happen especially since this upcoming season is more of a gamble than others.
Since this is a Yes/No proposition and not an Over/Under bet I'm going to go with "No."
Brian as long as you set your team (don't play players with a bye week!) and watch some football then I will be satisfied.

Re: IndyDDR Fantasy Football 2: Lock out with our rocks out
I just like throwing the over/under out at you even when it's not appropriate. Of course I know how it works about as well as I know how fantasy football works. So there's that. I guess I could have asked if you'd like the over or under for a number of trades...let's say, 3. Why 3? I have no idea. I just pulled that number out of my ass. It's true. I ate alphabet soup with numbers last night. #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement
We'll see if I watch any football this year. I'll try to remember to report if I actually do.

Brian I used to not care about football but it really is kind of a lazy and relaxing way to spend a Sunday. You can turn some football on your TV downstairs and watch some of the game in between sets of Daytona and Drummania.
"[Football is] literally a reality soap opera for overgrown man-children. It's like professional wrestling without the scripts and the Vince McMahon and a SHIT LOAD of more black people."
Plus the home team (The Indianapolis Colts) is a consistently good team thanks to the prowess of our quarterback, Peyton Manning. It's fun to watch him throw the ball and pick apart the opposing team's defense with his on-the-fly playcalling - he also makes faces that look like this -> :I (http://www.manningface.com/)
There's a buzz of drama this year too since Manning is recovering from neck surgery. Will he play week 1 against a divisional opponent? If not, how long will he be out? Will the recently added QB Kerry Collins be able to play in his stead? Will he be back to his old form when he does play again? Will we be able to stop the allegedly high powered Houston Texans offense?

I don't think you realize that I am the opposite of you in that I used to care about football and stopped caring.
I do still enjoy watching it when I actually bother to, but in a world of 1,000 different things to do it just rarely ever rises to the top anymore. Basically, if I have nothing else to do, I'd watch and enjoy...but I pretty much can always find something else I either have to do or would enjoy doing more.

You've changed, Brian, you've changed.
There is no shame in getting behind something pointless and futile. The average corporate cannon fodder isn't going to change the world so you might as well watch football or something.

Re: IndyDDR Fantasy Football 2: Lock out with our rocks out
I barely know what "all set" means, but I just logged in and looked at my team for the first time. I at least recognize some of the names in there, so that's a start. Everyone should be playing this week, right? Unless I really don't understand how this works, you can't really mess this week up too badly, can you?

Right, every team is playing this week so you won't run into any issues with a team's bye week. Make sure any players that are on the New Orleans Saints or Green Bay Packers that you wish to play this week are not on your bench since those two teams are playing tonight.
If you have no idea what you're doing and don't feel like gambling, go to My Team -> click on the "Projected Stats" tab -> and just shuffle your team around so that you have the optimum projected points.

Congratulations Brian your quarterback just had one hell of a game.

Re: IndyDDR Fantasy Football 2: Lock out with our rocks out
Wow, you're right! How did his team manage to lose with him posting stats like that? I didn't see the game. I was watching anime instead of football.

Merk recommended this to me a few years ago. "Football + anime... what's not to like?"

Welp! We're in bizarro NFL world and all the shitty people are doing well while all the good people are doing shitty.
Obviously because I don't have a smart phone I find out Sunday that my star running back isn't playing in what would probably be his highest scoring game of the season.

Just like last season, Matt Forte will be carrying me this season.Merk wrote:Welp! We're in bizarro NFL world and all the shitty people are doing well while all the good people are doing shitty.

That is all.
I really love CS:GO's 64 tick servers.

Re: IndyDDR Fantasy Football 2: Lock out with our rocks out
Did Matt Forte do well last season? I know two seasons ago he under produced like a motherfucker and I was legitimately upset.
Anyway, week one is always a crapshoot it seems. Good job to all the people that won, it seems like the people who didn't draft got the better of everyone who did this week. Congrats to the owners of Wes Welker, Tom Brady, Steve Smith, the Baltimore defense (horry shit), the Raiders' kicker, and Ray Rice.
I am in the market for a wide receiver so if anyone wants to trade their good WR for someone on my team just let me know!
And now that we kind of have an idea of who sucks and who doesn't, let the games begin!
