You see guys the joke here is that DDRFreak is dead.

I could never have a position of (perceived) respect on a messageboard because I would absolutely abuse whatever powers I had and just make fun of people all day long in creative ways. I'd also feel like people would never actually think I'm funny or that my opinions were poignant because they just want to suck up to me and feel special whenever they inevitably get trolled by someone.

I wonder what standardized forums would be like with an invisible-posting option that allows you to remain anonymous. I mean a forum like this (vbulliten and whatnot), but a little checkbox if you want to display your name, avatar, ect.

But BBcode. Imageboards are usually rather primitive when it comes to text formatting and embedded stuff (usually only moderators can even post Youtube videos and whatnot).

EDIT: And I'm aware tripcodes and stuff can be used for identification, but then in the off-chance you want to be recognized people cannot pretend to be you.

Upon a second inspection, I believe that because of my dubious demeanor and often ridiculous prose, I still cannot accept the honorable position of virtual bulletin board moderator for any internet site that would have me. As much as some would enjoy following my journey, it pains me to relay to many of you that this simply will not come to pass. I hereby request of this forums masters that this discussion be closed for there is no longer any justification of its existence.
