Saw a billboard on the way to work.

"Dubstep-loving Banjo Pickers listen to NPR."

Success! I have removed all of the screws from both pads. 104 screws from the stage - 8 per arrow, 4 per metal square, and the 32 smaller screws that hold in the bars. I basically got a dental pick to really scrape out all of the gunk in the stage screws, and using PB Blaster to loosen up some of the rust, they eventually came out with some forceful twists. I used a vice grip and just twisted the rounded heads (yeah gurrrrl) to get the small bar bracket screws up.

So my question is this, because I wasn't sure of some of your terminology in the big guide Brandon (like which parts you mean exactly as the "trim"). What exact size should I be going for when replacing the stage screws? M6 (McMaster - 92467A420)? And then which ones should I be buying for the bar bracket screws? Did you say those were M2.5? Do you have the McMaster-Carr product number? (edit #whatever - 92000A107 is that the right one? M2.5, 12mm stainless steel phillips head machine screw) I'm looking at some but they're all different pitch and not sure the best one. I just wanna make sure before I go! I will try to buy the nicest stainless steel ones available, but hopefully it doesn't cost too much for all these! How much do these screws normally cost? (edit: Looked em up on McMaster Carr website.... 55 bucks for 110 of the M6s, didn't know exactly what part number to look for for the other bar screws. The issue is I'd like to have them by tomorrow or Saturday when peeps are here helping, so I might have to peruse local hardware stores first, but hopefully they have enough in stock and aren't ridiculously expensive).

Next step: clean up the insides (which I haven't actually looked at yet), replace with new screws, lug everything inside, hook everything up, cheer up angry wife, cross fingers, turn game on.
