Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: Welcome to Obama's America
It said I had about 16 active minutes which I suppose is reasonable since racquetball is very stop-and-go. I've notice in DDR that when I play for 90 minutes I get about 30 minutes of very active minutes which, to me, feels a little off. If every song is about 90 seconds long and I play about 30 songs per session then I would expect at least 40-45 minutes of very active minutes.
I'm not sure really sure what constitutes an "active minute" with the Fitbit -- I think it's just any minute where your step count is past a certain threshold.
I have no idea how the doubles chart for Living in America goes so now I'm a bit worried! The singles chart isn't too bad and the only attribute of the chart that I can recall is the little step-step-jump pattern during the chorus. The God damn South is going to rise again.

It has a bunch of drills at the end. They're only 3 steps each, but I cursed at every single one of them.

Welp I ended up not playing DDR this week and yes I do hate myself for it. I fell asleep at my desk at home at like 7pm so I decided to take a nap. My friend then asked me to play some Heroes of The Storm and that was my day.

Yeah, I hope next week goes better for me in the DDR department. Really the only thing that's stopping me from playing is me.

Do you have any silly thread titles or OP image you'd like for me to use for this song?

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: KILL IT WITH FIRE
Played yesterday! Yes, my Fitbit steps are legit.
Even though I played a bit, I did pretty awful the whole time and my scores were shitty and my stamina was just not there. I was able to get 13 greats and 1 good on My Sweet Darling for a score of 487 which wins by one (1) point.
Twilight Zone is an awesome chart ruined by an awful ending. I had a hard time with it on my first attempt but once I figured out the turns my opinion of the chart improved significantly.
Living in America is hard and I don't know how to step it.
Burning the Floor is not too bad but by the time I played it I was out of stamina so I did awful on it.
Retried Sana Mollete Ne Ente and I'm still pretty bad at this song on doubles!
I may try to play again tonight and focus on one of the many doubles charts I am behind on.

Ooo...a challenge! I'll have go back and try My Sweet Darlin' again.
I also played last night. I think it was a happy accident that we hadn't picked an unlock song up to this point. I found the other two versions of Burnin' the Floor and then realized that I was going to have to enter the unlock code to play Momo Mix. I got 31 greats and dropped 1 freeze. I blame my stage for that freeze drop, but I'll still score it that way because I think I can beat the 31 at some point, too. DP is 669.
I didn't play this week's song that much or much of anything else. I was trying to work like 2-3 other projects while I was playing. I basically got everything started and nothing finished...and then I went out for karaoke.
You hate those drills on Twilight Zone, too?
I want to try Living In America again. I do remember it taking me a few tries to get into it and figure it out. I really feel like I can probably do better.
For Sana Mollete, you just need to enter a Sana-tative state.
I'd like to play again this week, but I was already feeling a little bit off last night and today I seem to have some minor sniffles. It might have to wait a couple days.

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: KILL IT WITH FIRE
I think I got food poisoning from Steak 'n' Shake on Saturday because I was shitting myself senseless on Sunday.
Even though I slept like shit yesterday I feel pretty good right now after taking some Advil, we'll see if I am up to play some shit tonight. What song would you like to do? Is it my turn to pick?

Re: Merk vs. IndyDDR: KILL IT WITH FIRE
I got sick at the end of last week and it completely nuked my competitiveness in our Fitbit challenge. I immediately went to bed on Thursday night when I got home from work and spent probably 80% of Friday there as well. It was not a fun time.
But I'm happy to report that I'm feeling much better after the weekend and I was hoping to get some DDR in tonight as well. I believe it is your turn to pick this week...so go ahead and do that.
I'm going to go ahead and send you a Fitbit daily challenge for today to try and hold us both accountable for actually playing tonight.

Whoops. My Fitbit app got a case of the stupid and I think I sent you the challenge 3 times. I guess that will make us either really big winners or really big losers.
