I'll do a fiesta 2 setup for it. Also, remind me not to use my regular usb cause if I remember correctly Fiesta EX saves mess up Fiesta 2.

In absence of another suggestion, how about something a little on the harder side (but it's still fun, I think): Take Out [D13]

If neither of the above apply, you are normal. Congratulations.

I could probably do a little better at this. I'd be happy just to get a full combo. I don't see myself getting down to 2 greats though.

How about for the new month we go old-school and do Deja Vu NM?

I actually played this last week and then never posted about it. I played it again last night and did a little bit better.
Not the greatest...but it's a score.

Prex 3 or Exceed, I think. Maybe Exceed 2. It's from that era, anyway.

Re: Pump VS IndyDDR: Colonblow
Just played it a couple of nights ago now that Fiesta EX is back up and I got a high A with 3 misses. This may not be popular to say, but I not a fan of the awkward traversing in this chart and many of the lower level double charts in the Exceed to Zero era like Go D13.

YOUR STATEMENT IS UNPOPULAR!
I dunno. I think everything worked in that chart. It seems like a classic and well-constructed Pump half-double to me. You can get in trouble if you start on the wrong foot or get turned the wrong way, but the only problems I had were stamina or brain fart related.

Re: Pump VS IndyDDR: Colonblow
Can someone post a video of the chart?
Re: Pump VS IndyDDR: Colonblow
I remember loving this chart as far back as playing it at X-site on Exceed 2...basically as long as I've been playing Pump with any sort of regularity.
I don't recall if I ever managed to FPC it back then. I feel like I should be able to do it now. I just need to be free from the fatigue and illness that have plagued my last few weeks.

So, here's the thing about Pump, are you supposed to hit that jump at the very end with your hands? On jumps like those I always flubbed those by hitting the UR+UL and then the DR+DL arrows a split second later, like in a 32nd or 64th note rhythm. That always seemed to at least give me a great so that my combo would continue. I feel like hands in dancing games are kind of dangerous and a good way to fuck up your wrist.
Any 3+ arrow jump involving the center arrow I believe is designed so that you can hit the center+arrow with one foot and then the remaining arrow with your other foot, right? So for example a UL+center+UR jump would involve hitting the bracket between UL+center with your left foot and the UR arrow with your right foot to trigger each arrow at the same time.

Re: Pump VS IndyDDR: Colonblow
For pump, bracketing is recommended to hit multiple arrows. (Essentially hitting two arrows with one foot by hitting right dead center in the bracket so that you can hit both.) This can be rather difficult to get good at for people with hilariously small feet.Merk wrote:So, here's the thing about Pump, are you supposed to hit that jump at the very end with your hands?
