If you can't reach your own standards, your standards and expectations are too high. Or, you're going about reaching those expectations wrong.

I'm going bar hopping in Broadripple Tonight.

i'm sorry but sex isn't something amazing and special. it's what happens when 2 people are attracted to one another. you'll understand this once you grow a few years older...just another stupid idea forced upon kids just like marijuana kills and that everyone is a walking std

What an amazingly cynical comment.

I'm sorry you feel that way, thank you for talking down to myself and others who may feel this way. I feel enlightened.

I'm not talking you down, I'm meerly stating the truth. Ask any 21+ year old person what they think of sex and relationships and it will be along the lines of "sex happens...i enjoy it but i'm not a slut." It's a natural act that happens in all shapes of life, so I don't understand why people feel it's sacred and need to save it. If it were truely something important to be held onto, animals wouldn't be doing it once they understood what their dingleberrys are for.

O I misunderstood the point you were trying to make. I thought you meant sex was boring. Nevermind. But I agree with you now.

I disagree. Dunno, maybe because I'm a girl or that I'm romantic or something, but I just think there's more to sex than just doing it b/c it's natural. ::shrugs::

well of course there's something more than just the penis entering the vagina

what i mean is it's not taken as sacred and holy once you get older. it's just something that happens when 2 people are attracted to each other...just like how dad always starts the bumble bee speech...

I don't know. That's just a concept that I find hard to follow. Just because I'm attracted to someone doesn't mean I'm going to have sex with them. I'm a little more conservative about this topic than most people, not like I have anything against the people who think that you do. Let's just say I'm ultra reserved so I'll never just sleep with someone just because. And it doesn't help that I'm a hopeless romantic. lol

I'm also a hopeless romantic, but I do think sex is a tad bit over-rated. Most of the people I know that have had it are like 'Yeah, whatever.' However, I also will not have sex with just anyone, in fact, it's quite the opposite. I've been attracted to a lot of people, but I don't think about having sex with them. Maybe I'm wierd like that, but I just don't think it's what it's cracked up to be, unless you really care about the person. Only then is it anything special, and that's from an emotional stand-point anyway.
