I will not spend effort debating you, because you will infinitely nitpick and twist things around, to prove your "point" (do you even have one anymore besides just try to act high and mighty?). you would argue that there is no gravity, for decades. debating with you is like debating with Smarterchild.

Again, i fail to see how i'm acting "high and mighty". You, more than anyone, are imposing your musical standards on people by far. You say that because I listen to mogwai or I use wikipedia that my musical standards are not up to yours and thus not worth debating. This is acting high and mighty.

I have never once said that a person's musical tastes made them "not worth debating", nor did I say that they were stupid for listening to a band or a genre etc.

Again; if you're not going to prove me wrong, or debate, or point out this so called hypocrisy of mine, then don't post. Otherwise, you're just doing something far worse than being hypocritical, you're not even debating, so you're just being dead weight.

I argue on as much fact and logic as I can present. I also do not personally attack people as much as possible, two things you seem to have trouble doing, but then again, you haven't debated yet either; you've just been making posts to attack.

My original point is still the same point; I never twisted it, other people decided to go into other areas of discussion. ITG is mostly the same in sound, as it is made by people making the music in similar ways with similar programs and instruments, and DDR music in 3rd mix + and 4th mix + is much more varied musically.

if you let wikipedia dictate your view and grasps of music, your comprehension of the creative arts and creative collective is far lost and not worth trying to save or argue.

This is a direct implication.

By saying "not worth trying to save or argue" you're saying "you're below me, you are not up to "my level" so thus i won't waste my time on you because you're not as developed in tastes as i am".

Like I said, you have made it very clear you have barely began to venture into unconventional music. (mentioning mogwai reassured me of this)

Made it very clear? How did I do that by listing off mogwai? again, on this entire discussion, *no one* here knows what bands I listen to as a whole. Again, this says that "unconventional music" = "worth of opinion", as you're saying that because i have not ventured into unconvential music, I don't know as much about music as a whole as you do, and thus my opinion is not worth debating as you said in the above quote.

I never once said in that quote that if you DISAGREE with me you can't post; had you read my other posts (which you clearly didn't) I said numerous times that I invite, want, and love people to debate with me and try and prove me wrong, to offer up counter points, and so on.

I just did control + F on all five pages of this topic. I didn't find that exact quote *anywhere*. May have been in the middle of a sentence, but sorry, that's fail on your part.

Thanks for altering my quotes, which is FAR below debating, you're altering actual facts in the debate.

Had you actually captured the FULL sentence, which I believe was something similar to what danc just said, you would realize that my sentence said "don't post if you're not going to debate".

This is akin to someone saying "don't come to work if you're not going to work". That's not a viewpoint, that's not saying that you can't work because you don't agree with my ideals, that's saying that if you're in a debate topic, DEBATE. Don't just continually say "oh you know I WOULD debate but i don't want to".

Exactly, which is why you are now twisting *my* words into things that don't make sense, cutting out pieces of quotes, etc. I've been debating now for tons of posts; you haven't debated more than once in this entire topic, filling it up with garbage posts like this that have nothing to add to the argument or your own points.

Again, what I said doesn't even imply that you can't post if you don't agree with me, and i've made numerous posts saying I want, invite, and like people to debate with me and to prove me wrong.
