Positive ID (Great X Scape freestyle 3/25)

Post by Ho » Sun Apr 30, 2006 3:20 pm

If you've been wondering what's going on with the videos from the freestyle tournament last month, I have news...

My main PC has been broke-ass since around that time, so I haven't been able to work on them. But I'm happy to report that I now have replacement equipment so that I can begin working on them. Ironically, I'm working on them now--at a DDR tournament! I brought my PC along with me because I figured I'd have some downtime I could utilize between rounds and such.

One thing I realized is that I don't know all of the people who participated, so I'm posting freeze frames of each of the performances so that people can identify themselves and/or each other.

Each group of pictures (two each, one from each round) is numbered. Please post the number of the picture group and the name or handle that you want to used to label the video clips I'm creating. Please also note whether you are identifying yourself or someone else. I will use the names given by the people themselves unless someone does not respond. In that case, I will try and form a consensus from other people who respond on that person's behalf.

I don't know if I would be of much help, since I don't know these people's names...but I think I know a couple of them through their IndyDDR names...

I believe that #1 is MonMotha.....and #9 is Harleigh RVNG

*shrug* Like I said, I don't know if that helps, but I'm pretty sure that's who they are...

I believe #1 is MonMotha/Brandon, #2 is Jason Dread/Jason, #4 is Yu-xie, and #5 is Tim. I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know, but it's worth mentioning anyway.

I don't know who #3 was, though. Are you sure he really competed in the tournament?

Yeah, I think #3 was just some crazy hobo that wandered in off the streets or something... Crazy Ho-bos...

And yeah, #5 is me. I must say, I kind of sucked a bit in the freestyle. I seemed to be a little uncoordinated for some reason (completely screwed up in some parts). Possibly because I was still coming off of a cold, but oh well, it was fun anyway.

Thanks for the help. But for those of you featured who are also watching this thread, I'd like to know if you have a preference as to how you will be identified on the clips I'm creating. I know some people prefer real names (first, last, or both) while others use handles or screen names. Some people are also picky about capitalization. So just let me know exactly how you'd like to have it appear.

Addressing the two participants who have already responded:

Tim, do you prefer Tim or WhiteDragon?

Jason, I assume will be known as Jason Dread.

#6 - Jonny
#7 - Ian

you probably will not hear from them. those were the 2 from West Virginia and I don't think they are on this site. but those are the correct spellings I believe.

Just popping in here to say I'm looking forward to watching the videos :) I was dealing with The Joy Of Parenting at that time and missed several performances....

As you're probably aware, I do prefer to go by MonMotha when playing video games.

And as MonMartha when dressing in drag at the night clubs, right?

They wouldn't let me sign in as Motha Stewart :(

I prefer being identified as Jason Dread. It has not failed me thus far...

And I also look forward to these videos, except my own. :?
