Let's talk fighting games that aren't Blazblue!

Anyone here play any Third Strike? What a great game that is... How about Melty Blood? A really fun 2d fighter that has elements from Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, and Smash Bros. You'd have ti import, but what a great game.

Anyone have some thoughts on this subject matter?

I'm pretty boners for Street Fighter: 3rd Strike, right now I'm working on my parrying and being able to combo into Genei Jin with Yun. I need a god damn stick

Seriously though, as far as fighting games go, I'd say probably MKII or OMF2097 (google it if you haven't heard of it). I guess naming those two says how long it's been since I actually played any fighters... I kinda got out of fighters about when they started to go 3d, well other than FPSes, which I don't consider the same class of game really.

Hey if you want some fighters we can have daniel put Art of Fighting 2 and World Heroes in the Neo Geo again....LOLZ....but in all seriousness the ONLY fighting game I was good at was Samuari Showdown 1 and 2 but since I haven't played it in years...I am way to rusty.

You just earned so many awesome points you have no idea. I played that game so much when I was a teenager. That was one of the first fighters I'd seen that had a "rehit" or juggle option. Shredder for the win.

I will try it out, speaking of Neo Geo, Daniel recently put new buttons on the neo geo unit, since the 2nd player side was messing up.
