Spammers' heads on pikes...die, Die, DIE!

In an attempt to stem the flow of spam posts while we put the finishing touches on some updates to the forums, I am temporarily switching over to Admin approval of new accounts.

I don't think we're getting a ton of new (real) registrations lately, so this probably won't be too much of an inconvenience to many people. However, if you're a new user signing up, just drop me an email to let me know you're a real person and I'll be happy to activate your account.

For a moment, I thought the first word in this thread's title was Shammers. I then read it accordingly:
