I hope you're only talking about Extreme, because 3rd mix+ and 4th mix+ are second only to PIU in terms of music variety. Both of those mixes had less than 15 songs of the variety you're talking about each, tops. The rest covered a shitload of genres, from metal, to punk, to pop, to rock, to jazz, to soul, and so on.
ITG/2 music =
---Kyle Ward techno which sounds like it was made on Fruity Loops (seriously, let's make a trillion mixes of Disconnected... BETWEEN TWO GAMES, and let's have them sound all the exact same!)
---Some weird ethnic shit that basically sounds racist as hell
---Some EXTREMELY gay songs that i would never play in a million years because they sound like they were made for Kidz Bop
---More generic techno
---Some techno that tries to sound hard and evil but just comes off as crap

Dust Devil, the only good artist in the entire game (with like, maybe one or two other artists being decent)
Drummania/Guitar Freaks pretty much owns the market in terms of music variety though if we're talking all music games. Still, PIU > DDR 4th+/3rd+ > All other mixes of DDR except Extreme > ITG/2 & Extreme for music variety/quality.
