Louisville Arcade Expo '15 - Who's going?

Post by Merk »

Thanks to Fluffy, I am now overly excited to go back to Louisville for their 2015 arcade expo. I think this year I will use some reward points get my own hotel room but that does not deny the fact I would hang out with y'all throughout the con.

Who's all planning to go?

I am looking at my options. Need to find a hotel room for myself though if I do.

I have a conflict that falls on the Saturday of the event. I don't see myself splitting a trip down there. I guess maybe I could go for either Friday or Sunday...but I'm not sure.

Honestly, I didn't really enjoy it all that much when I went 2 years ago. But I also understand that was apparently the weakest year?

I think of it as more of a trip to Louisville really. The vidja games are fun and it's really the only time of the year I get to play some serious pinball but the real fun is just chilling in Louisville and trying out the restaurants / bars.

I mean, I can order a Mint Julep in Louisville and people actually know what it is and how to make it.

You can even get them served in the traditional silver cup! You can also get some other Kentucky favorites like the hot brown. Sounds like literal poop, but actually not too bad.

You know, a Hot Brown is basically a Turkey Manhattan

Doesn't mean it's not good as hell though
